Elincia - Dawn of Darkness

After not doing any returning FE characters for awhile, I've finally finished Elincia as she appears in my fanfic, Dawn of Darkness!

Elincia is the former Queen of Crimea and, at one time, was Ike's lover. During the Goddess War, however, they halted (but did not truly end) their relationship, but rumor began to spread during that time that she was in love with Geoffrey, General of the Crimean Royal Knights. A marriage between the two was arranged under this mistaken belief, with much anguish for Elincia who loved another with all her heart. Heartbroken himself, Ike left Tellius for Altairais soon after. After much soul-searching, Elincia vowed to find Ike and rekindle their romance. Geoffrey, who'd seen this coming, agreed to annul their marriage and Elincia sought out Ike. By chance, she met Azura along the way and joined the quest to save Altarais. She left behind the Pegasus she'd used in the Wars, both because the creature was too easily recognized and because he was now very old, and is reclassed as a Swordmaster.

Elincia often worries about Crimea, wondering how her uncle Renning, her lifelong friend Lucia and Geoffrey are doing but she knows her friends need her aid and that Ike could not go through the same heartbreak he did when he thought she'd left him for Geoffrey. Despite this, neither she nor Ike could truly abandon Crimea and the idea of the couple returning there comes up from time to time.

Despite her worries, Elincia remains as kind-hearted and brave as she has ever been and her loyalty to those she cares for is unshakable. She's a bit overprotective, especially of Ike, but does her best in battle nonetheless.

Since Elincia is no longer a Pegasus rider, she has rather odd stats for her new class. Even so, she has the basic skills of any Swordmaster. High speed, lack of defense and HP, and average strength. She has slightly more defense than the average Swordmaster since she wears a chest plate, plus higher than average resistance and magic, but her luck is mediocre. Overall, however, she can be quite useful due to being a pre-promote, especially since she comes with Amiti, her faithful sword from Crimea.
