Dawn of Darkness Sprites 9

Description

So, since I made more mugshots, it's also time I added more battle sprites for this story!

We've got Bronwyn and Misty, who are of the new Wagon class, Lisa the Valkyrie, Fin the Bow Paladin, and the two hawk laguz, Josef and his apprentice, Sheryl.

Wagons function a lot like Merlinus's wagon in FE7, except they can attack!  They strike by charging into their enemies.  They can also deliver fresh supplies to allied units, of course.  And they can also do something that no other unit can do: rescue and carry up to THREE allied units instead of just one!  When they reach level 21, they promote into the more powerful War Wagon and gain the ability to use bows.  They also gain another unique ability: if their bows break, they can grab a new one right away.  They ARE carrying supplies, remember?

Statistically, Wagons and War Wagons are very defensive, boasting high defense and resistance as well as pretty good strength.  However, they're also some of the slowest units and are weak against fire magic due to the wagon being made of wood.

Hey there, sorry about the delay. Aside from wrapping up Skyward Sword, our neighbor Kim left her dog, Milo, in our care while she's out of town. He and Mr. Darcy have been quite rambunctious at the wee hours. Anyhow, these are impressive. I'm guessing you had to make the hawk laguz largely, if not entirely, from scratch? Well, they came out great. Fin is also an interesting specimen. I'd half expected that, for a bow paladin, you'd need to splice the Paladin sprite with the Nomad sprite. That is, a Nomad with a Paladin's outfit. What made you go with this instead? Still, it came out alright as-is. That Misty also had a War Wagon caught my attention, since I had assumed she was going to stay an NPC, like Owen or Lorelle. As far as I know, she hasn't been in the story for a while. Are you planning for her to take the field when her...ahem...problem is rectified? If so, that give me an idea. If the army needs to divide, or if they come at the enemy from two sides across a large battlefield (where the units would be too spread out for one wagon) then, that's where two wagons would prove their worth. The notion of the wagons having distinct attack abilities and weaknesses is also an excellent idea, as is the different colors between the two. Both seem to reflect their rider's personalities. Anyhow, great job, and thanks for your patience.
